Now when I first started Cricut crafting, having to have to take a million steps to clean up and convert an image on the internet and not being able to make quality SVGs myself really held me back. 

And if I had given up I wouldn’t have been able to dream up a design and make it come to life right in Inkscape or the Cricut Design Space canvas. But it turns out you don’t need to know how to make quality SVGs in order to make projects quickly and easily with your Cricut.

You see, in order to make my projects faster and easier without frustration or overwhelm, I actually started using my own cut-ready SVGs.

So now, here are the three simple steps I use for all my projects:

1. Pick out one of my ready-to-cut SVGs.
2. Upload it to Cricut Design Space.
3. Cut the design.

But, not knowing how to create clean, cut-ready SVGs doesn’t have to hold you back from quickly creating cool projects in just minutes.

There are some big mistakes you can make when you’re trying to use images from the internet for your projects, but we’ll go over those next week.
